Stephan Geering

Global Privacy Officer for Blackboard  


Stephan Geering is Blackboard's Global Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel. Stephan is responsible for overseeing compliance with data privacy and security laws and regulations and leads Blackboard's GDPR program. He previously worked as Citigroup's EMEA & APAC Chief Privacy Officer. Stephan is a qualified Swiss lawyer and was Deputy Data Protection Commissioner of one of the Swiss regional data protection authorities before moving to the UK.
