Emily Ward is the Director, Marketing & Media Services for Blackboard Student Lifecycle Services. With more than 8 years of higher ed-specific experience, Emily has supported a variety of domestic and international institutions, with both on-ground and online program offerings, to develop, implement and optimize marketing strategies that successfully meet their growth goals. Though her strategic approach often incorporates both offline and online channels into the marketing mix, she specializes in digital marketing, where return on investment can be established through highly trackable efforts. Emily is a strong proponent of the role of technology in securing and managing prospect data, nurturing prospects through the sales funnel into enrollment, and ultimately retaining students.
